Seconds Out Promotions has announced its newest boxing event, to be held March 29 at The Myth, a nightclub in Maplewood, Minnesota.
As you can see here, the card is expected to feature at least four boxing matches and two MMA matches.
Featured prominently are Kenny Kost (13-3 with 6 kayos), Caleb Truax (4-0 with 3 kayos), Jon Schmidt (4-1 with 3 kayos), and Corey Rodriguez (officially 1-0 with 1 kayo).
The best news is Kost’s continued activity – keep in mind that Kost only fought once between February 2007 and February of 2008. Now, following his lopsided defeat of James Crayton on February 1, Kost will be fighting for the second time in two months. That’s good news for us fans and for the talented middleweight from White Bear Lake, as well.
It’s been said before on this page, but it’s worth saying again: with the large current crop of viable professional fighters and the busy schedule they’ve been keeping lately, this is a good time to be a Minnesota boxing fan. Let’s hope that the newspapers and TV news purveyors get the message soon.
