Fargo’s Lucky Day

November 5th will see middleweight Andy Kolle (22-2 with 16 knockouts) return to his former adopted hometown of Fargo, which was the scene of 4 early-career wins.  Kolle is expected to take part in a major boxing event being staged at Scheels Arena, a sparkling, nearly-new 5000 seat hockey arena that opened in 2008.

Plenty of names are being tossed about in connection with this show.  I can tell you that some top-notch local talent with grace the undercard, but I can not name names yet.  I can also tell you that the internet rumor mill is suggesting some connection to out-of-town prospects Edwin Rodriguez and Marcus Johnson, who are also scheduled (it has been reported elsewhere) to fight the same night.  Suffice it to say that any casual boxing fan within reasonable driving distance will not want to miss this event.

A lot more information is coming in the next few days.  Keep your ears open!
