Golden Gloves Boxing returns to the Wadena Armory Saturday March 7. Bouts begin 7:30pm.
Wadena plays host to boxers from Brainerd, Fergus Falls, Duluth, Detroit Lakes, Crossroads, and Leech Lake. Twelve bouts are scheduled with the main event Ben Ott Nevis [sic] 205lb -vs- Shane Cashen 208 Duluth.
Other Wadena boxers include Trent Petro 178lb, Cody McManigle 142lb, T.J. Steward 154lb, Albert Boldt 85lb, Justin Isaacson 212lb, Bobby Wynn 148lb, Leon Albricht 155lb, Matt Green 118lb, and girl boxer Taylor Gelser 130lb.
The Region IV championships will be held at Wadena Armory on Friday-Saturday April 3rd & 4th, bouts start 7:30pm.
